About the event
Join Smokey House Center for our 1st annual Forest & Field Festival, a free community celebration of Vermont’s farms, forests, food, and local partnerships. Held on our beautiful main campus, this family-friendly event brings together farmers, foresters, researchers, artists, makers, and community organizations for an afternoon of connection, learning, and fun.
Explore partner exhibits and mini workshops, enjoy live music from The Suitcase Junket, take part in hands-on activities, and learn more about the innovative work happening across Smokey House Center’s 5,000-acre campus. Guests can enjoy blueberry picking, maple tastings, local food from RoadRunner (available by purchase on site), and opportunities to connect with organizations shaping the future of working lands in Vermont.
This event is free and open to the public. Bring friends, family, a picnic blanket and/or lawn chairs—we look forward to welcoming you to Smokey House Center and enjoying a day in the valley with us!
