Birding Walk - May

Join local bird enthusiast, forester, and long-time Smokey House Center birder, Lee Allen, for a bird watching walk around the main campus. Lee will lead participants around the pond and along the edges of fields and forests, covering less than 2 miles with moderate terrain. The trail is well defined with some up and down sections. All skill levels are welcome. Please leave dogs at home. Bring your own binoculars or borrow some from Smokey House Center. Please wear weather-appropriate clothes as this event will be outdoors.

• "Early Bird" walk: 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM
• "Morning" walk: 8:45 AM to 11:00 AM

Location: Meet in the parking lot in front of the Smokey House Center Conference Barn: 426 Danby Mountain Road, Danby

Cost: This event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome.
