About Our Products

Our farm products are brought to you by the Smokey House Youthwork Program, a hands-on, work-based learning program for area teenagers.

Year-round, Smokey House employs these youth in farming and forestry activities.  They grow vegetables, blueberries, and Christmas trees, make charcoal and maple syrup, raise livestock and market these products to the community.

Smokey House strives to produce top quality farm products in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.

Our vegetables and blueberries are certified organic by the Vermont Organic Farmers Association.  No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers are used on our crops.

Our animals are raised in a natural and humane way, spending most of their lives outside and on pastures.  We use no growth hormones and use medications only when necessary for the health of the animal.
