Environmental Field Studies Program
Join us as part of your regular school day!
"A Summer in the Field" see the link below to part of Field Studies this summer! The Environmental Field Studies Program seeks to spark student interest in academics through an integrated curriculum designed around scientific research. For two to six weeks, middle and high school students come to Smokey House full time to conduct intensive field research on current environmental issues. (Learn more about our research). The students earn academic credit from their regular schools for their work at Smokey House.
At the end of each session,
students present their
findings, both orally and in writing, to classmates, teachers,
parents, and resource professionals, and at regional environmental
symposiums and conferences. See
our Upcoming Events for the
next presentation. Learn more about: **WISH LIST** The following items would be of great help in meeting our educational and operational needs. If you have something to donate, please contact our office at (802) 293-5121.
