Education

Smokey House Center was founded over forty years ago to provide young Vermonters an opportunity for academic success, personal development, and job training through hands-on work at our forest and farm.

Today we continue that proud tradition through our Smokey House Community Farm initiative and through strategic partnerships and collaboration, including extensive programming with The Tutorial Center, a leading provider of educational support services in southern Vermont. We are committed to helping Rutland and Bennington County non-profits and educators accomplish their goals through creative use of our lands and facilities. To find out how to partner with us, please contact Jesse Pyles, executive director, at jesse@smokeyhouse.org or 802-293-2300.
